Chris, I've been thinking about you. I had a tumor that had to be removed form my spinal cord inside the myellin scheath. The tumor was benign and I had no pain after surgery. It was a frightening time but there wasn't any time to really think about it so I went forward. Prior to discovering the tumor I was bed-ridden for several weeks until the staff did a myelogram and discovered a schwanomma tumor inside the myellin scheath in the spinal cord. It was removed immediately, the tumor was begnign and there was a happy, pain-free ending for me. Over thirty years later I still do the recommended lower back strenghthening a flexibility exercises and I have very little trouble for over 30 years.
I hope your treatment is successful and that you are cured over time. Please let me know how it's going.
Don (Don C. right?), I think I'd agree that no time to think can be better than too much! I'll put results up here as soon as I find out. Thanks for the note!
41 Years old, born and raised in D.C. Got sick early in 2009 and discovered my tumor in April. Finished treatment for Hodgkins Lymphoma in Dec. 2009. Now in follow up.
Thanks for the references on writing a book.
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best with your CT results on Tuesday.
